About the owner
Gary MacDonald started his electrical career in 1999 becoming a Red Seal Journeyman in 2007. Furthering his studies in 2015 he became a Certified Master Electrician . In 2018 he received his designation as a Professional Electrical Contractor. In 2020 he continued his education to become an Electrical Inspector.

Grounded Earth Electrical specializes in residential and light commercial installations. Whether you need a small wiring fix or the installation of a complete kitchen, garage or basement reno. I will get the job done right. If it becomes necessary because of the number of hours a job may take, I will utilize the help of an Apprentice.

Grounded Earth Electrical has a minimum charge of one hour at $65.
Material Pickup and Purchase
Dependent on the time needed to complete the task.
Purchase of Electrical Equipment such as a (bath fan, range fan etc.) needed to complete the job, as requested by the client.
Electrical Permit Minimum Base Price
$116
The amount to be Paid for the Electrical Inspection to Take Place. This Amount Covers Jobs up to $1000. The Price Increases as the Job Price Increases.
Master Electrician Pulls the Electrical Permit
$65
When a Permit must be Pulled in Order for the Work to be Completed.

Environmentally Responsible Disposal of Your Old Metal Fixtures, Fluorescent tube lights, ballasts etc. Old fixtures can be taken to reuse recycle centers such as habitat for humanity.
Consulting / Estimate $30
Up to one full hour of information as to what can and or must take place, what might need to be done and possible cost and labour pricing. Includes the house call. Ex: does a permit need to be pulled. Are other trades needed to complete this install. Can be refunded if the client awards the project to Grounded Earth Electrical.
